Someone once said something like “LIFE is what happens when you are busy making plans.” The version I love is, “if you want to hear God laugh, TELL Him your plans.” Either way, this week has been humbling, once again.
This week’s guest blogging schedule has gone to the dogs. Or the cats. Or whatever housepet absconds with best laid plans.
I’ve been battling deadlines and a stomach ailment, so I was late in getting blog interviews written.
Sharon has been sidelined by a nasty stomach bug which today finally seems to be abating, but we’ll meet her later in the week.
And Vic DiGenti has been so busy promoting his new book release, he won’t get to us until later in the month.
In addition, I decided to change hosting services for my two websites and, in the case of my Yahoo site, that has proved catastrophic. Yahoo obviously seeks to rain havoc and chaos upon the head of anyone who dares to withdraw from the Yahoo family. So, several of my email accounts and my NLQUATRANO.COM website are temporarily out of commission entirely. It feels a bit like I’ve been beheaded in a cyber-space sort of way.
Of course, looking around at the chaos around the world, this isn’t even on the scale. And five years ago, I wouldn’t even have KNOWN what a host was or why it wasn’t good to mess with them. Guess I’ll survive not having all that invisible stuff working for a few more days.
So remember when life shows up full of chaos and stuff you haven’t planned on, keep smiling and be flexible.
I wish you lots of writing time, successful endeavors, and good health until next week when I’ve hopefully gotten things back on track. Peace and love.
Be well. NQ
