Happy St. Patrick’s Day

The list is the pot of gold - the autoresponder is the leprechan

When my ancestors came to what is now the United States, sometime in the year of 1657, they indentured themselves to pursue their dreams. I am blessed to live in a country that allows me to pursue my dreams and choose to whom I am indentured. I consider THAT my pot of gold!

May these lovely Irish Blessings, which I found at this lovely website (where there are several more,) bring you smiles, joy and peace.

May you always have…
Walls for the winds
A roof for the rain
Tea beside the fire Laughter to cheer you
Those you love near you
And all your heart might desire

May the blessing of light be upon you,
Light on the outside,
Light on the inside.

With God’s sunlight shining on you,
May your heart glow with warmth,
Like a turf fire
that welcomes friends and strangers alike.

May the light of the Lord shine from your eyes,
Like a candle in the window,
Welcoming the weary traveler.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day – and keep reading and writing! Won’t you let me know how you spent YOUR St. Patty’s Day??  I’d love to hear from you.
