QUICK BYTES: Writing For Fun

Funny-gatorI know, we’re all busier than ever now that the year is just about over, right? And where did this year get to anyway???? Well, I suggest it may be more productive to grab one of these prompts and write yourself a short piece than writing out all the things on your to-do list that are still not done for 2013!

Inspire yourself to be all that you can be! Spread some joy, have some fun – try on one of these – and if you’d like – send it my way and we’ll post it here!! If not, just let me know if any of these quotes inspired you to do something special.

“It’s not what’s under the tree that matters, it’s who’s around it.” (Guidepost’s reader submission)

“I’ve learned you can tell a lot about a person by the way he or she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage and tangled Christmas lights.” Maya Angelou

APPLES: When They Harm, When They Heal (Headline of a Reader’s Digest article.)

Dresser for Sale—Possessed by Ex-Girlfriend (Craigslist listing)

25 Things Rich People Won’t Tell You (Article headline from Reader’s Digest)

The goal is to have fun and be creative! I’m sure with all of the things on your to-do list, something fun might be just what keeps the doctor away!!

Keep reading and writing! Nancy Q.
