A Down Home Country Christmas by Nancy HerknessIn the first writing group I participated in, there were over 200 local and remote members. At any particular meeting, we had 50-70 attendees and every meeting included, immediately after board introductions and welcome, the opportunity for each of us to announce good news. And, I was pleased to be one of them more than once. What fun for us newbies to share our success with a published article, short story, or book! Anne Lawrence, Chita Surowicky, Karen Plunkett-Powell, Kathye Quick, Rainy Kirkland, Caridad Scordato and many others all shared their “firsts” with me in their midst.

Among the many wonderful women I am proud to have in my long-standing writing family is author Nancy Herkness, who just announced that her Christmas Novella is now available as an ebook! Nancy’s novels are powerful and positive romance novels.

To get your Kindle book, visit Amazon here: It’s also up on Nook at It’s the fourth story in the Whisper Horse series, and showcases Claire’s sister from TAKE ME HOME.

It’s at a special promotional price of $1.49. If you need more information, just let me know!

Keep reading, writing and sharing! Nancy Q.
